Update: 8-18-2025 marks three years since Lamboghini introduced the Lanzador. At this time Lamboghini has pushed out the date for the Lanzador to 2029 and it might be a hybrid. This would fall in line with vehicles like the Urus SE hybrid which appears to be the main configuration of the Urus in 2026.

Behold the Lamborghini Lanzador - a vision of the future crossover for daily enjoyment anywhere.

Lamborghini revealed its fully electric supercar concept on August 18, 2023 at Monterey Car Week and I love it. I love it when a car company can design true to its vision.

Lamborghini is not constrained by the masses. It can make products that don't compromise. The Lanzador is a vision of the future, where enthusiasts can experience luxury and performance anywhere and every day.

How I wish a U.S. automaker would build a vehicle like this. But all we get is the Mach e, Model Y, and Blazer.

Crossovers are the hottest selling cars on the market, and that might be the problem for U.S. auto makers. It's easy to make a profit on mass market crossovers. So who would make an American version?

Back to the Lanzador. Who wouldn't want a supercar as a daily driver? Especially a four passenger version that isn't defeated by most parking lot entrances.
