Les Bons Temps Roulant

Bummed that all Mardi Gras festivities in Shreveport have been cancelled for 2021? In need of a reason to get out of the house and have a little family-friendly fun?

The Giving Garage is proud to present Les Bons Temps Roulant—a masked festival and car show with a Mardi Gras flare on the first day of Spring—March 20, 2021. The event will be held at Oakmont Church of God at 5925 West 70th Street in Shreveport, LA.

The car show will begin at 9 AM with the winners announced at 3 PM. Registration is $25 with pre-registrants receiving two (2) meal tickets for some award-winning jambalaya. The show is open to Pre-1980 cars, trucks, vans, and bikes with a cash prize for 1st place in each class. You can PRE-REGISTER for the show HERE.

Admission to the Festival du Masque is free to the public. We will have food, music, vendors, free face painting for the kids, and more… all themed around Louisiana’s French heritage.

Come out for a good time and feel free to get into the spirit by wearing your favorite Mardi Gras mask. Or you can even go all out with a chance to win a cash prize for best costume. Are you and your friends always the life of the party? Why not enter as a costumed guild with a shared theme for masks and costumes—like a krewe without floats, based on those of the Carnival of Limoux, France, the longest in the world? Please keep costumes family-friendly.
