Did Dodge Dump the Challenger?

Will There be a 2024 Dodge Challenger? Well? Hello?

Every press story I read assumes there will be a Challenger. They say "Challenger/Charger" in all their articles. But Dodge has said nothing about a future Challenger.

In fact, in August 2022, Dodge finally revealed the eMuscle concept... and it’s a Charger. Good news for Charger fans. They were invited to the electric party. Meanwhile, Challenger fans were left standing outside.

Not one word from Dodge about a 2024 Challenger.

The silence of Dodge is saying something. The 2023 "Last Call" Challengers are literally, last call. No gas. No electric. No future. Again, Dodge is silent.

Dodge should add a new color for the 2023 Challenger - Sunset Orange.

Or create a 2023 Vanishing Point Challenger.

If the Charger concept is a two-door, how can Dodge justify having another two-door on the same platform?

I don't know why the press isn't talking about this.

But wait.

I finally found an article by MOTOR TREND that actually questions the propaganda Dodge has been dishing out:

"They Live! All-New Dodge Charger, Challenger Coming With V-8s" Non-EV Challengers and Chargers are coming on a new platform (Src1).

FALSE.

According to a Dodge communication to MOTOR1 : "The story is incorrect, The Hemi in that platform, as well as that platform, are going away. The next generation will be BEV." (Src2)

Next generation of what? The Charger for sure. But they refuse to mention the Challenger.

The Dodge response leaves the door open for a future Challenger, just barely.

So maybe a new day will dawn and the 2024 Challenger will ride into town.
